Management console: View SQL Server jobs and scheduled jobs across your SQL enterprise from a single console. Manage jobs by just dragging and dropping from within a single server or from one server to another. Print job schedules directly from the console.
Identify SQL job contention: See jobs and identify job contention across multiple servers. Maximize hardware resources and improve application performance by leveling jobs across available resources.
Level job workload: View jobs across the SQL Server infrastructure and more easily balance workloads via drag and drop of jobs across servers ensuring optimum use of system resources.
At a glance view of jobs: Quickly and easily see job status in the job tree and get comprehensive details about jobs, such as start time, run time and average run time, by hovering over the information icon of a particular job. This information will pinpoint areas where problems may exist, such as long-running and runaway jobs.
Calendar view: Five calendar-viewing options paired with four filter options for job status mean complete flexibility to customize the look to see schedules that are more granular and quickly find the information most relevant to you. Frequently running jobs can be omitted from the calendar view to obtain a higher-level understanding of job operations.
Connect to cloud and run in the cloud (provisional): Connect to database instances hosted in the cloud, such as SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machine (VM). Run on virtual machines hosted in the cloud, such as Windows on Azure Virtual Machine (VM) and Windows on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
