Long Description 2: POP Peeper is an email notifier that supports POP3, IMAP with Idle (AOL, AIM, etc.), SMTP, GMail, Outlook.com/Hotmail, Yahoo, mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos, RediffMail, Juno, NetZero and RSS (available). Other features include portability, password protection, address book, viewing messages in HTML (or rich/plain text for security), attachments, separate polling intervals for each account and more. There are also many notification options available such as sound alerts (configurable for each account), flashing keyboard LED, skinnable popup notifier, customized screensaver, voice notification and more. There are several different trayicon options to indicate new mail has arrived including an animated icon and displaying the number of new messages directly in the trayicon.
