My applications 'Lite' version is for downloading financial market data from freely available web sources of intraday stock data & related info. The intraday download may be done automatically or manually at the end of the trading day. Upon downloading a database is updated and maintained for continuity. The database may contain up to 30 stock symbols. The app includes automatic backup archives & other useful tools for bulk data manipulation.

My applications 'Lite' version is for downloading financial market data from freely available web sources of intraday stock data & related information. It is compatible for use with Windows7, Windows8 & Windows10 both for 32bit & 64bit architecture. The intraday download may be done automatically or manually at the end of the trading day, note, this is not a real-time downloader. Upon downloading the intraday data a database is updated and maintained for continuity. The database may contain up to 30 stock symbols. Other features: Selecting either 5minute or 1minute bars for the database. Selecting from various stock file formats, e.g. yyyyMMdd,HHmm,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume The databases stock text file extension may be either '.txt' or '.csv', e.g AAPL.txt or AAPL.csv Select the desired intraday web data source, i.e either Google or Yahoo. Scheduling the download automatically on a daily basis at your desired time or you may do this update manually after the market is closed. Automatic backup database during downloading or do a backup manually at any time, selecting a desired number of backup archives to maintain automatically. Automatically do stock splitting during downloading or manually perform the stock split. Receive an email notification that will inform you of the success or not of the automatic update. Initiate an update of the database from the command line i.e programmatically, e.g. 'C:\Program Files (x86)\VgainSolutions\VgainIntradayDatabaseUpdater\VgainIntradayDatabaseUpdaterLite.exe /Update' Tools for data manipulation: Deleting data in bulk before of after a desired date of one or more selected stocks. View an error log of stock symbols that fail. Stocks that fail to download may be easily reviewed & deleted if necessary. Perform symbol data integrity check. Edit a selected symbols data manually using Windows notepad. Data back-fill limits: Yahoo 5min data - 15days Google 5min data - 50days Google 1min data - 14days
