TekView Explorer is a charting and analysis tool that helps investors track, explore and compare investment strategies featuring: robust charting capabilities, traditional and easy-to-create custom indicators, automated back-testing that uses Petri nets and fuzzy logic to construct and execute trading rules, a scripting interface for creating scripted indicators or to perform other customized task and free price updates.

TekView Explorer is a stock charting and technical analysis tool designed to assist traders become more proficient through practice and testing. It provides an easy-to-use interface the supports multiple views, overlays and indicator charts. Traditional indicators can be inserted with simple menu selections. More complex custom indicators can be derived using easy drag-and-drop methods (no programming necessary) or through a scripting interface that supports Microsoft's VBScript and JScript. Petri nets are used to model fuzzy logic decision rules, which can then be used to automatically back test any number of stocks. Transactions (real as well as hypothetical) are stored in portfolios. The portfolio interface and charting interface are coordinated for convenient review and assessment of trading patterns. System includes a portable back-end and data management tools. Free end-of-day and intraday price updates are obtained from the Internet.
