Open source PHP webmail front-end for your existing IMAP mail server. Modern and clean design, very fast, feature-rich, and supports SSL/TLS.
Users can check and send mail, see emails organized in threads, use Inbox, Sent, Drafts and other folders, create new folders, set Sieve mail filters, signatures, identities, and other options.
E-mail composer supports drag-n-drop of images and attachments from desktop.
Mail viewer correctly and safely displays HTML messages (blocking javascript and external images) and fully supports international charsets and UTF-8. Arabic and Hebrew users can choose RTL (right-to-left rendering). Attachments can be downloaded with drag-n-drop, images and PDFs are previewed with thumbnails. Users can open zip and winmail.dat attachments, or download all attachments with a single click.
Address Book can store contacts and groups (local db or LDAP server), can import contacts from .vcf attachments and .csv files.
Users can have their own settings, such as time format and interface language (supports English and many others, easy to add new ones), change email account password with POPPASSD or custom plugins, set auto-responder or automatic forwarding (with Sieve support).
Also supported: IMAP quotas, template-based user interface with skins (for ease of customization, easy to add new themes), integration API (your script can bypass WebMail Pro login screen and log the user directly in the mail account).
The web-based administration panel, web installer and cPanel/Plesk/DirectAdmin integration make it easy to install and configure WebMail Lite. Database backend is MySQL. Optimized for ISPs and hosting providers.
The license is AGPLv3. The product can be upgraded to Pro version with extended features and no AGPLv3 restrictions.
