Short Description: Adds or removes a static route in Windows routing table
Long Description 1: Adds or removes a static route in Windows routing table
Long Description 2: Use this action to add a static route or remove a static route to Windows routing table remotely on multiple computers at a time. It works similar to executing a 'route add' or 'route delete' command in Windows to add a persistent route or delete a persistent route.
Windows routing table controls the flow of outgoing network packets. In most cases, the system selects dynamic routes to determine how network packets are sent. However, in some cases you might want to add a persistent route to override the default dynamic route behavior. For example, if you have a separate high-speed internet connection for phones and conferencing, you can have all traffic related to those connections to go into that connections and not the default routes.
