Short Description:
The Matlab CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation is a unit operation implementation for which the calculations can be entered in Matlab. Can be used in CAPE-OPEN compliant process simulators.

Long Description 1:
The Matlab CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation is a unit operation implementation for which the calculations can be entered in Matlab. The Matab unit operation functions in CAPE-OPEN compliant simulation environments that support version 1.1 thermodynamics or version 1.0 thermodynamics (requires Matlab 7.1+). It has been tested in COCO simulator, SciSci ProII, AspenPlus, Honeywell Unisim Design and other simulators. Requires Matlab version 5.3 or higher

Long Description 2:
The Matlab CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation is a unit operation implementation for which the calculations can be entered in Matlab. The Matab unit operation will function in CAPE-OPEN compliant process simulation environments that support version 1.1 thermodynamics or version 1.0 thermodynamics (requires Matlab 7.1+). It has been tested in COCO simulator, SciSci ProII, AspenPlus, Honeywell Unisim Design and other simulators. Matlab version 5.3 (32-bit) or higher, or Matlab version 7.1 (64-bit) or higher must be installed and running at your system. The Matlab CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation is free of charge for personal and academic use. The process simulator's thermodynamic property calculations and phase equilibrium calculations are made available to Matlab via added Matlab commands. The solvers that come with Matlab can be used to solve the equations that define the unit operation.
