Long Description 1:
CalcSheet is an alternative to a spreadsheet program that enables you to set out complex calculations in a word processor or text editor document with explanatory text mixed in with the numbers and commands. You can change one or more numbers or commands and recalculate with one click. You can also lay out the calculations in a way that suites you and that will make it a lot more obvious what the calculation is about than a spreadsheet does.

Long Description 2:
CalcSheet is an alternative to a spreadsheet program that enables you to set out complex calculations in a word processor or text editor document with explanatory text mixed in with the numbers and commands. You can change one or more numbers or commands and recalculate with one click. You can also lay out the calculations in a way that suites you and that will make it a lot more obvious what the calculation is about than a spreadsheet does. You get 100 free calculations in the shareware version, and registration to get unlimited calculations costs only $9. With one click you can hide calculating commands for a clean display, and restore them again with another click. CalcSheet includes 15 sample calcsheets, from which you can learn how to create your own calcsheets. Its pretty straightforward, actually, but there is a Help menu as well that explains how it works. The repeatuntil command pair enables you to do calculations with multiple iterations, such as calculating infinite series. The standard resolution of calculations is 29 significant figures, but an Ultra Precision mode can be chosen, enabling up to 500 significant figures. CalcSheet can do statistical calculations on arrays of data, as well as trigonometric and other scientific calculations. For fun, the 1G Drive command prints out a log of various journeys in a spacecraft accelerating at 1G, showing how far its occupants could travel nudging the speed of light, and how much time would pass on Earth in the process. CalcSheet also contains some other apps that are hidden to start with, to keep CalcSheet clear and simple, but can be opened up by clicking just one menu item. These other aps include a high precision calculator with inputs and outputs you can paste and copy to, a typing speed ap, an area calculator for online maps such as Google Earth, and an abbreviation expander. Plenty to play with if you are interested, but CalcSheet is, I believe, what is most new and useful!
